Join The Health & Events Company on a retreat of a lifetime and give yourself the opportunity to unwind, unplug and feel really, really good.

The Health & Events Company retreats are created by Debbie & Lucy with lots of focus on Yoga, Pilates, Well being and tasty, nutritious food to help you re energise, relax and restore your body & mind.

For our UK based retreats we have teamed up with the beautiful Deighton Lodge (just a short drive from the beautiful Historic City of York) providing the perfect setting for a retreat. You will have everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay with healthy home cooked food, beautiful surroundings and experienced instructors to guide you through your 3 or 5 Day Retreat. Some retreats will also feature guest instructors or therapists to make your stay an extra special and healing experience.

For each retreat, there will be an explanation of what to expect.  All levels of Fitness, Yoga & Pilates are welcome and please do not worry about coming on your own, 90% of people come on a retreat alone and leave the week/weekend feeling like they have had an incredible time and have made lots of new friends.

Throughout your time on retreat you will be eating carefully planned homemade nutritious meals, snacks, juices & smoothies to help support your Fitness, Yoga & Pilates practice, also giving ideas for recipes to try when back home.

We provide vegetarian, vegan food and some gluten free options too. If you have a specific dietary requirement please specify this when booking your place and we will ensure everyone is catered for appropriately.

On a typical 3 or 5 day retreat there will be some Fitness, Yoga and Pilates workshops running throughout and we also include Pranayama (Healing Breath control) Yoga Nidra (Yogic sleep) and Meditation Workshops.

The Yoga styles are a combination of Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa & Ashtanga. We welcome all levels to join us whatever fitness levels & whether you have practiced Yoga or Pilates before as we will ensure your working at the appropriate level/intensity.

Other activities – There will be a Hot Tub available to use for the duration of your stay and we provide 1 Holistic Massage Treatment. We will also offer the option to walk around the beautiful local area, Enjoy the tranquil gardens at Deighton Lodge so you can just relax and watch the world go by.

Each Retreat includes – Accommodation, 3 Vegetarian Meals per day, Juices & Smoothies, Goody Bag, All workshops and classes, Use of Hot Tub, 1 x 1 Hour Holistic Massage.

Not Included – Travel to and from the venue, additional treatments & any extra food or snacks not within normal meal times.

Do I need to have practiced any Yoga or Pilates before attending a Retreat with us?

No we welcome beginners up to those who already practice or attend classes regularly. We have kept the numbers to a level where we can ensure lots of personal & group attention where needed.
