Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious and in need of some balance and calm????

Introducing our new 3 Day Retreat programme aimed at creating more balance in both your life and your yoga practice. Yang Yoga to improve flexibility, strength and balance combined with a steadier more passive Yin Yoga to create better joint mobility, ease tension and help reduce the feeling of overwhelm, anxiety. Slowing things down using breathing, yin yoga postures and relaxation/meditation techniques to find some inner calm in an often relentless world!!

Yang Yoga

Synchronizing the breath and movement using Pranayama, Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga, bringing heat and energy to the body to improve your flexibility, posture, strength and balance. Correct alignment & technique of postures will be taught to help inspire or re-ignite your home practice.

Yin Yoga

Slowing things down with a more passive practice. Workshops will include calming Pranayama (breath control) Chanting (to raise those feel good vibrations & calm the mind) Yin Yoga Postures to soothe the nervous system and release tension around the muscles and joints and Relaxation/Meditation techniques to help you find stillness, release built up tension/trauma, find calm and improve your ability to deal with the daily stresses life can throw at us.

You will also get time out with other like minded people in luxury countryside accommodation at the fabulous Deighton Lodge Retreat Centre in North Yorkshire.

All Yoga, Relaxation, Meditation, Meals & Accommodation is held in the beautifully restored rustic Barn & Farm House at Deighton Lodge.

Carla and her husband have done a fantastic job bringing this beautiful location back to life and it was just the perfect place to host Yoga, Pilates & Wellness Retreats.

Deighton Lodge is located just a short drive from the historic City of York and is super easy to get to from various UK locations, in addition to being close to Leeds Bradford Airport, should you be travelling from further afield.

Our aim is to help you –

  • RELAX & RESTORE with gorgeous Yin, Restorative & Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep)
  • CLEANSE & RE-ENERGISE with healthy, delicious & homemade plant based food & Juices

Throughout the Retreat you will be eating carefully planned homemade nutritious plant based meals, snacks, juices & smoothies to help support you during the Yoga Workshops and give you some recipe ideas to use at home. Meals, Juices & Snacks will be plant based as this helps to better support your body when practicing Yoga.

We cater for Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free & food allergies where possible so if you have a specific dietary requirement please specify this when booking your place and we will ensure everyone is catered for appropriately.

We welcome all levels to join us whether you have practiced before or not, we will ensure your working at the appropriate level/intensity and offer alternatives where required.

Other activities – Optional walk or jog around the beautiful local area and the option to participate in a fun group activities or you can just relax and watch the world go by.

Accommodation

Deighton Lodge is a beautiful and newly renovated farm guest house with all the comforts you will need for a relaxing & restorative retreat.
You will be accommodated either in a shared twin room or private rooms available depending on the package you select. See the room options & packages available below.
Prior to you attending we will send you full information of facilities provide so you not what to or not to pack for your retreat.

Do I need to have practiced any Yoga before attending a Retreat with us?
No we welcome beginners up to those who already practice or attend classes regularly. We have kept the numbers to a level where we can ensure lots of personal & group attention where needed.

Massage Treatments

We have a Beauty & Massage Therapist who regular visits our retreats to provide treatments. Treatments available on Retreats include Massage, Facials, Reflexology & Reiki. If you would like to book in for a treatment over the retreat we will send a full treatment list prior to attending. Treatments will incur an additional charge.

  • Double or Twin Shared Room – £495.00 (Price Includes two places in shared double room, Limited availability)

Note – Due to Covid-19 and UK Government Restrictions we are only able to offer shared twin rooms to friends or family members sharing together until further notice.

Booking Information & Payment Terms

We require £150.00 deposit payment by direct transfer or via paypal (payment details will be sent out directly to you by email). Your space is secured once deposit payment is received. The remainder of the balance is due 4 weeks prior to the retreat.
